About the photographer

James Hodgson lives and works in Hampshire. His interest in photography started several years ago with the advent of mainstream digital photography and continues to grow.

His usual style is quite abstract, concentrating on the details of the subject at the exclusion of the context. That said, he finds it hard to resist an interesting landscape.

James has contributed works to both the "Natural Britain Through the Lens" and "Eye on the World" exhibitions.

He takes photographs because he enjoys doing so but is always pleased when others enjoy looking at them as well.
